Processing Flow Sheet

The #1 and #2 ore processing plants have a similar processing flowsheet, which consists of crushing, milling, flotation and concentrate dehydration circuits to produce gold and lead collective concentrate.

The crushing circuit adopts a dual stage open-circuit flowsheet using jaw crushers types PE400X600 and PE150X750 for primary and secondary crushing respectively. ROM ore is fed to the primary bin by loader. An ore hopper with a hole-size of 320mm x 320mm has been laid over the primary bin. Oversize ore lumps are directed to the jaw crusher. Undersize ore lumps will be stored in the ROM-receiver bin and then fed into the first-stage jaw crusher by a chute feeder for coarse crushing, after which they flow into the second-stage jaw crusher for fine crushing, making 80% of the crushed particles less than 25mm in size. After crushing, the fine ore is transferred to the fine-ore bin by a conveyor belt

The milling circuit adopts one-stage closed-circuit grinding by using one vibrating feeder and one conveyor belt evenly feeding the fine ore into a GZM2130 ball mill and a FLG1500 single head spiral classifier to achieve a fineness of 65-70% passing through a “minus 200” mesh (P65-70=0.074mm)

The ore slurry (with a smaller particle size after treatment in the classifier) is gravitated to an agitator of Ψ2000X2000mm, then is fed to the flotation cells consisting of one roughing process, four scavenging process, and three cleaning process. Milling minerals then flow into an agitator with flotation reagents for slurry mixing, then enter the flotation cell for producing bulk concentrate and tailings. The bulk concentrate containing gold, silver and lead collective concentrates is pumped into a dehydration circuit. Tailings there are hauled to the tailings storage facility (“TSF”). The reagent system is quite simple, including a combination of butyl xanthate and butylamine dithiophosphate as collector, terpineol (#2 oil) as foaming agent and no regulators

The dehydration adopts a dual-stage dehydration process. The concentration slurry is pumped into a thickener, and then pumped into an outward filtering drum filter for further dehydration. The moisture of concentrate is reduced to less than 9%. The #2 Ore Processing Plant adopts a setting pond for natural sedimentation and the moisture of concentrate is reduced to less than 12%
